If you are planning to use glue-all on its own, mix it with water first till you get a nice flowy consistency. The Liquitex has a nice contrast, so i would probably give it a try. But if they are thin layers, then 10-15 minutes would be plenty. We actually tried a mix made of floetrol, pouring medium (liquitex) and pva.
